Eagle Receives Food Safety Certification.  Again.

Most of the products that Eagle Logistics Systems brings into Puerto Rico moves through its state-of-the-art Jacksonville, FL warehouse.  The 55,000 sq. ft. facility just received, again, its AIB certificate with a 970/1000 score, well above the minimum required score of 700.

The AIB certificate is issued by the American Institute of Baking which is the industry association whose mission is to protect the safety of the food supply chain by upholding the highest standards of integrity.  Global food brands require the AIB certification from their supply chain partners.

Eagle is the #1 shipper of refrigerated food products into Puerto Rico and the Jacksonville warehouse consolidates many of those shipments into containers for ocean vessels.

In addition, to the AIB certification, the warehouse is also registered as an FDA Food Facility and has a HACCP Program with protocols that protect food safety.  The Jacksonville facility is the only warehouse dedicated to Puerto Rico that is both registered and has received AIB certification.

Food safety matters and manufacturers know that Eagle has them covered.
