Year End Activity at Eagle Logistics

As another year draws to a close for Eagle Logistics, several things remain the same.  Eagle remains the #1 refrigerated food shipper to Puerto Rico and continues as a top ten shipper of all freight to the island as well.  The Jacksonville warehouse, where products from all over the U.S. are consolidated into containers before their final delivery to Puerto Rico, continues as the top-rated warehouse dedicated exclusively to freight for Puerto Rico.  In 2022 Eagle will again record year-over-year increases in shipping volume.

Impressive results again for Eagle especially considering the company had to manage through two powerful hurricanes and, of course, Eagle prevailed again.

Now, at year-end, holiday shipments contribute significantly to Eagle’s activity.  Christmas trees and decorations, despite shortages, have arrived and are on display throughout the island.  Holiday merchandise is on store shelves and food for seasonal celebrations is headed to grocery stores and restaurants.

A new and growing trend for Eagle is reflected in the growing number of customers in Puerto Rico who are asking Eagle to manage their shipping operations.  Island importers know and trust Eagle. They count on the Eagle teams to keep them abreast of shipping trends, ocean carrier schedules and optimum rates based on long-standing relationships with carriers to best manage their deliveries.  By outsourcing their freight management, Eagle customers can reduce costs and operate more efficiently too.

Eagle has been serving Puerto Rico for decades.  While having Eagle handle your shipments to the island, you learn from the Eagle team why they are the dominant shipper to Puerto Rico.
